What is a hacker typer?

A hacker typer is a toy terminal that prints screens of realistic-looking code and logs as you press keys, so it looks like you are typing at lightning speed. It is used for pranks, video props, streams and presentations. Nothing it shows is real.

Is this a real hacking tool?

No. Everything on screen is generated randomly in your browser from templates, using fictional private addresses. It does not connect to any server, scan any network or touch any system, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Is the hacker simulator safe? Is it a virus?

It is safe. There is nothing to download or install: it is an ordinary web page that runs in your browser tab. It asks for no permissions, needs no account and sends nothing you type to any server. Close the tab and it is gone.

How do I use the hacker simulator?

Click the terminal and press any key, or tap the screen on a phone. Every key press prints the next chunk of output. Turn on Auto-type to let it run by itself, change the speed with the slider, and pick a scene and colour theme you like.

What scenes are available?

Network intrusion log, source code, memory hex dump, decrypting passwords (masked, never real), a network scan with open ports, a system boot log, Matrix digital rain, and My text, where it types out whatever you paste. Switch scenes from the Scene menu.

How do I get the Matrix rain effect?

Choose “Matrix digital rain” in the Scene menu. Green characters fall down the screen, and every key press or tap makes the rain speed up for a moment. Combine it with Full screen and a colour theme for a wallpaper-style effect.

Can it type my own text or code?

Yes. Choose “My text”, paste anything into the box (up to 20,000 characters) and each key press types out the next piece of it, so you can “write” a script, a poem or a speech. Your text stays in your browser.

How do I prank a friend with it?

Open the page on your friend’s laptop or phone, press Full screen, choose a scene and switch on Auto-type, or let them “type” themselves. Use Alt for Access granted and the Transfer files button for a fake progress bar. Keep it light-hearted, tell them it is a joke soon after, and never use it to scare someone about a real account, money or their job.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap anywhere on the screen to type, or switch on Auto-type and hand the device over. Rotate to landscape and use Full screen for the best effect. On iPhone, where browsers block true full screen, it fills the window instead.

Is there an unblocked or installable version?

There is nothing to install, which is why it opens in any modern browser. If your school or workplace blocks the page, that is their network policy, and we cannot help bypass it. Use it on a personal device or ask permission.

How do I make it full screen?

Press the Full screen button. It uses your browser’s full-screen mode where available, and a full-window view on devices that do not support it. Press Esc to leave.

What do “Access granted” and “Access denied” do?

They show the classic movie-style pop-ups. Press Alt for Access granted and Caps Lock for Access denied, or use the buttons on screen. They are purely for show.

Can I use it in a video, stream or presentation?

Yes, it is made for that. Use Full screen, pick a theme that matches your scene and turn on Auto-type so you can concentrate on acting. Please do not use it to make people believe a real system was compromised.

How can I look like a hacker on screen?

Pick the Source code or Network intrusion scene, use the green or cyan theme, make the text a little larger with A+, go Full screen, and keep a steady rhythm on the keys or use Auto-type at a medium speed. A dark room helps.

What is the difference between a hacker typer and a hacking simulator?

They are the same kind of tool. “Hacker typer” stresses that the output advances as you type, while “hacking simulator” describes the whole fake-terminal experience. This page does both.
